The inspiration behind the Graffiti paintings.

Travelling through London on my narrowboat I was fascinated by the  graffiti on the bridges.  The canals in London provide an alternate world,  slipping from a leafy green corridor in one moment to the colourful graffiti adorning the walls.

The painting is varnished for protection with a low sheen varnish.

The paint on this picture is built up in layers. It includes gold paint and my trademark swirls. Unfortunately the gold doesn't show up very well in the photos. The paint is carried on down the sides of the canvas and in a tray frame, the dark shadowed sides enhance the look.
